Safa Maryam is a poet and doctor from the North. Her work has appeared in Dear Damsels, Mslexia, Medical Women, and Anthropocene amongst others. Most recently her work has been anthologised in Thresholds (Butcher’s Dog Publishing 2024) and COAL (Smith|Doorstop 2024). She has been a finalist in the Mslexia Poetry Competition.
