Pamela Galloway lives in Manchester, her birthplace, having returned from 39 years in BC, Canada to help care for her elderly mother. Pam’s recent writing has focused on this time. The poems explore aspects of their relationship and also the impact of dementia on her mum.
Pamela writes about the people she encounters and the landscapes she moves in. Her poetry has been published in numerous journals and anthologies, most recently in the anthology Worth More Standing (Canada) and Orbis (UK). Her poetry is held in the archive of the Parliamentary Poet Laureate of Canada. Pam’s books are Parallel Lines (Ekstasis Editions, Victoria) and Passing Stranger (Inanna Publishing, Toronto).
